Looking buil build a custom home cinema, need advise.

Hi, currently i have a lenoxx sound ht 600 which has been good (5 years old), but i am now looking for a new system. I was looking at the "SONY HTSS110 5.1 Channel 1000w Home Cinema System", but i have read somewhere that all-in-one systems are never as good as home built systems.

I have a couple of questions that i hope someone could answer,

could you make a better system for £200 by buying the amp, speakers, and cables seperatly.

If you can could anyone recommend any equipment?

I like to play loud music, and live in an area where i can play loud music without disturbing people.

any ideas would be appreciated.
