| Help with choosing a Home Cinema Set-up
I have decided to have a home cinema in my new home. I have lots of questions.
I have decided on the new Pioneer Kuro 50’ Plasma (9th gen). My viewing distance is going to be around 3 metres away. I have read a lot about this and am reading mixed feedback – intuitively the screen size appears to be too big for this distance – any advice??
For the Amplifier I had it down to the Denon AVR3808, the Onkyo 875, the Pioneer VSX-LX70 and now the Denon 1909!!! Views?
For the speakers I was set on the B&W MT30’s – can I do better. On this point, should I be thinking of 7.1 speaker packages.
I already have a PS3 so that will be my Blu-Ray player.
Assuming people on this thread don’t convince me that 50’ is too big for my room size, then the TV is fixed. Now I want to ensure that the other items do the TV justice. My total budget is c.£6k (that EVERYTHING – ie speaker wires etc..)
I plan to semi-self-install (i.e. I will get an electrician to do the wiring but will connect the hardware myself). This is my first attempt at this and there is a separate thread for anyone who wants to help me in this project!!
Thanks
