getting the room dark

My apologies if this is the wrong place to ask.

My manual screen is mounted in front of a window and it covers the window fully. However, when watching during the day there is a considerable amount of light coming through the edges of the screen.

I did not do anything about it, because I am watching mainly after work and it is always dark enough to get a good picture.

My question is there a good and simple method of closing the gap between wall and screen? I could not think of anything simple and WAF friendly that would do the job so I try to ask the specialists.
