Doing a new build!

And so the journey starts. Today I contacted an architect to commence my Grand Design!!! Can't wait!

If anyone can recommend a good builder/contractor in the Leeds area it would be very helpful. Also could do with knowing a top quality joiner and plumber.

Re: Doing a new build!

Hi Mark

if you check my thread mate I`ve just done a new build near to you and it was done by my son Robert who is a member of the federation of master builders.

All the works were done either by him or his contacts who if you want to come here and have a look around are all excellent trades men.

The plasterer I might add is the best I`ve ever seen.

I wouldn`t go with anyone who I either didn`t know or at least seen their work.

Oh! and my very good friend was the architect who I`ve know all my life.

Anyway if you want to come and have a look your welcome and if you want further knowledge I`ll take you to Sandal at Wakefield where he`s doing a £1.4 milllion for a customer.

cheers Allan

PS. I`ve got quite a few names and no`s. in my phone I wouldn`t give you mate infact I won`t have in a minute god knows why I`ve still got them.

Re: Doing a new build!

Thanks, I was just reading through your thread last night. I'm sure I'll be bugging you in the future!

It's only a relatively small plot, but will be a 3 bed contemporary detached house. Budget £150-200k (I think).

thats quite a big budget Mark, you`ll get something very good for that (if you don`t get fleeced).

As I said you`re more than welcome to come and take a look here, btw where abouts is your plot

cheers Allan
