Wall mounting a 42" LCD onto a dry lined wall
I've done a search as I was aware there's probably already been discussion on this subject and I've gained some useful info. However I've got a few more questions.
I live in a new build apartment that's just over 3 years old. Due to the sound the exterior walls make I'm guessing they're dry lined (blockwork, metal studding, plasterboard) and I'm fairly confident of securely fixing the mounting bracket.
However I want to know the best way to "channel" the cables into the wall. With a solid wall it seems fairly straight forward to chisel out a channel, put in some trunking and then plaster over the top but with a dry lined wall and the associated airspace what's the best method of installing the cables?
I hope that makes sense but if not forgive me as I'm more of a technical person than a DIY person.
