quick question regarding non reflective paint

about to start my home cinema room and about to paint my ceiling a non reflective black. Reading through some threads international matt black paint was mentioned i saw it here in focus
http://www.focusdiy.co.uk/invt/521536 but it says its for prime wood and metal. Is this ok to use on my ceiling if not which 1?

Re: quick question regarding non reflective paint

I'm not sure about this paint, it would probably be ok but as I've seen Matt black emulsion in the usual DIY outlets, why not use that? I painted my screen wall with a very dark brown matt emulsion and even that looks black with the lights off and the PJ on, so true black can only be better. Just be aware that I found my matt paint marks very easily.

Re: quick question regarding non reflective paint

Late reply, and probably too late for the OP, but I ended up using blackboard paint. Two coats (2 1/2 litres) and the ceiling is a lovely matt black. I got mine from www.toolstation.com but I am sure it is standard in most places.
