Show me your..... Radiator covers!

Okay, not strictly "home cinema" as such, but hey, this is a gallery forum and this is to do with pictures so hey, sue me LOL

Basically, I am thinking about knocking up some MDF radiator covers as my rads look a bit bland all bare, but I lack inspiration so hoping you guys will show me what you have so I can copy it

Lemme see em

Re: Show me your..... Radiator covers!

Radiators? Radiators are so last century.

Although, I did get the idea for boxing in my underfloor heating gear from a radiator cover.

B&Q have quite a range of different grilles to choose from.

Re: Show me your..... Radiator covers!

Very flash but £107?!?!?! And it wouldn't match my decor at all, as whilst mine is modern somewhat, it's also understated, whilst that cover is very contemporary....

Re: Show me your..... Radiator covers!

This is one I made my self to cover an old radiator in the cellar... Its made from 19mm MDF

Cost me about 25 Euros incl Paint and Screws etc

My guess is you can make it any size you want, I think the effect looks fine.. My wife thinks it looks great and even though we have new radiators upstairs some of them would look good with this similar cover and you can paint it any colour you want..

You can see my complete room in my Sig..

Thx, I think you get the general idea, you can make them wider, higher, smaller, mount it on the wall etc etc List is endless...

Many photos you see of radiator covers are a little old fashioned but I guess they serve their purpose..

Only reason I made a cover is becuase the old radiator looks old and out of place. Upstairs we have all new radiators and most of wich look very stylish, why not replace the radiator with a stylish looking one..

Re: Show me your..... Radiator covers!

add a bit of contemporary touch! change the radiator itself, not going to cost a lot
