Hi C2, Unfortunatly i can't offer a massive deal of advice but i'm thinking the stair ladder is a long way down the road!

I'd start looking into building regs and permissions i'm sure you have to have these before you do this? One of the guys on here will know this im sure!

Re: Considering Converting My Attic, How To?

what i should have stated was the plan is to slip this under the building fiasco by skipping Windows etc. Not really wanting to live up there just make it bearable to be in there.

I may be wrong but i think you can get away with that , the problems only start when you come to sell it as if you dont have the proper regs you cant claim it as a home cinema , bedroom whatever, it can only be classed as storage space........altrhough i could be wrong
