my set mid complete help wanted

cant seem to put a pic on here to start this .i have my xp in the loft with all my music on it pics on it and my downloaded films hd trailers and games .now i have that conected to my network were another to pc run in kids rooms a laptop down stairs on wireless .iv got this connected to my plasma a pdp-434hde also have a sky hd and a neo neo upscaller to 1080p the sound from the dvd is in the yamaha rx-v396rds receiver. i have a feed from sky rf2 2 my bedroom upstairs with a ir sender thing so i just take my remote up stairs i use a philips pronto neo to do all my remotes incoulding my lights .i was going to set up a htpc but im lost there would try though if i thought id get what i want i was reading the other day that pace is bringing out a media server looks like that means i dont have to upgrade my sky hard drive to 1 tb as thats what is in this unit.but also read that hitashi is already released a drive for the hd sky box and thats 1tb straight in for about £189 good i think.would love to split my home into zones look at any media on my system. help is needed please.

Nice set up and first pic is very good. You may have to change that small blue dec. bulbs to led strips for better apperance and neatness.

PS. would be nice to have paragraph breaks for better reading!

I think the bulbs work fine. Nice set up! Oh, and I have the same light switch as you :D

If you haven't already, program it to turn on and off with a button on your amp remote or something (I use the Harmony 525) - works a treat, especially if you integrate it with the activites programmed on a universal remote!

were i go next i would like sound and vision in all the area's in the house .dont know were to start really was going to buy a dvd recorder with built in hard drive for storage. should i just buy a mass storage for the pc in loft than i could access all media from all pc in the house have cat5 in every room .is it right that id need a pc in every room to access it or could i put a touch screen in them with speakers fed from the main amp if so witch type of amp so i can have upto 6 zones

suniil the lights round my install are led in the alcoves strip led round the tv and rope light behind the av stack. they all work very well when room is dark great look when watching stuff.yours set up is lovely i read all your postes on here and got me back into trying to sort mine out again just dont know were to start any help would be great should i buy a htpc for all the rooms or media streemers.
