HD via COAX home network

Hi, I currently have my Tivo (DirectTV Standard Def) located in my garage where the home Coax and Cat5 networking hub is located.

I'd like to upgrade to HD (debating DishHD DVR or Comcast with TivoHD (do they work together (I'm in Redwood City,CA))) - how do I have the DVR output (HDMI) transmitted via the home coax network to the HD TVs and then converted back to HDMI?

Or is there a better solution?

I currently am leaning to the Dish DVR with its mix of SD and HD outputs (we have 2 HD sets and one SD and with the Dish unit at the hub I can just cross connect the SD coax to the SD set - but how to get the HD signal to the HD sets?

thanks,
Fletch.

Hi Fletch,

While you're very welcome here, this is a UK based forum and we have little experience with your questions. You'll be much better off on the similarly named "avsforum" which is based in the US. The guys over there will be able to give you the advice you're after.
