Re: A Tiny Big Screen Room
Hi and welcome to the forums.
By the list of the kit you have and have ordered you will have great system! Don't worry about the room size, just set it up properly and it will be stunning.
All the best
Nick

Re: A Tiny Big Screen Room
Have a look at vandamme cable - it's quite reasonably priced (I got mine from clearly-av.co.uk) and CPC for banana plugs (they do quite a few different types).

QED is very good.
If you want a cable that is easy to hide their micro series is excellent.
It also holds a bend very well and if you are putting it up in a pre-decorated room i actually glued it to the uderside of the coving and to the top of the skirting board. You would never know it was there!
About £1 a metre from memory. They also do a biwire version.

Re: A Tiny Big Screen Room
Looks like a cracking good room you have there, i would like agree with Mr. Wilby CPC for banana plugs and for part rolls of cable Clearly AV (If you want a full 100Mtr roll CPC is cheaper, but they won't split rolls) Both are great company's and deliver next day (you need to spend £40 with cpc and £50 with Clearly AV for free delivery by the way.....)
Good luck......... Deano

Re: A Tiny Big Screen Room
I have a mounting problem my Aussiemorphic lense has arrived and after heated debate with the missus have decided to ceiling mount the PJ and the Lense it is HUGE!!!
The best way I can think of doing this is to mount the two together on a large piece of MDF then mount the MDF on the ceiling im thinking of getting this basic mount from ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-LCD-...QQcmdZViewItem to secure the PJ to.
Any ideas anyone for securing the PJ & lense to the ceiling and/or how do I find wher the beams run in the ceiling without puntching hols in it??
Any ideas would be great guys...
BTW the pic with the LENSE LOOKS AMAZING!!!
even the missus commented
"that looks much better"
and trust me the woman is hard to please
Thanks all again

Re: A Tiny Big Screen Room
You could always use a Wood Stud detector like Thisish
I cant say i have used one, but some people swear by them...... or was that swear at them
