help on hiding cable

oooohhhh the joy of it i am sure we all hate hiding cable's well i need some help please i need to hide cables when i get my surround sound system i cannot channel wall and dont really want to rip up the floor boards in my bedroom either.

any ideas?

There are a number of options really open to you

1. Under the carpet with slimline speaker cable
2. There are numerous trunking options available but i think these look a bit chunky.
3. Through the walls or under floors (but you said you couldn't do this)

I had a basic set up in my last house and just peeled the carpet back and ran the cable around the edge of the room, you couldn't see it and did the trick. If you only pull the carpet up a little it won't come off of the gripper and just use something like a flat chisel to push the carpet back down (being careful of course)
