External TV Aerial Splitter

Does anyone have any ideas what the best way to split a TV aerial is outside the house?

All the normal solutions seem to be for internal applications but I need to do it outside to save me having to run a new cable from the aerial on the roof.

I'm not sure they do a fitting thats designed to be waterproof, so thinking laterally; could you not buy a small waterproof enclosure and make the connections in that. It would be quite discreet and would save you running the new cable.

I think they are about a tenner for the small enclosures.

Andy`s got the right idea but the wrong price, if you have an Eyre & Elliston near you or any decent electrical supplier pay no more than 2 quid for a water proof enclosure. Mine in the sump which is 10x8 was under £4 so with a 2 male/female connector you should do the job for under a fiver.
