Question Component distribution via Cat5-what about audio?

Hi folks

I'm currently looking at distributing a Sky Hd componenet output via a Keene
CHDD8A 1:8 distribution amp.
I am converting to Cat5 with 5x Muxlab comp/cat5 baluns. My problem is what to do about the audio! There is 1 pair spare in the cat5 & I think I'm correct in assuming I can send digital audio from the Sky Hd (converted optical/co-ax), but there will be no digital input at the tv end.
Do I need to convert from digital audio to analogue & am I going to suffer any degradation of sound quality.
I only have 1 Cat5 cable to each Tv.

Thanks

Hi there, Have you already purchased your component baluns? If not then have a look at these baluns, they have component & digital audio (coax)connections:

The only problem will be the audio, you may have to put an amp in with the TV (even if its only a stereo one it will be better than the tv speakers)

thanks dunks

Desperately need to find either a tv with a digital audio input or a digital audio to analogue converter.
