Paras Pit...

Hey,

Thought I may as well get in on the action.

Brief back story. Me n the better half moved into our first home in may and it was horrible. Full of dirt, badly decorated and smelt of dead cat with the hair to match.

Anyway I decided to not live in such a place and got round to sorting it out. I only gave myself a week off work and vowed never to do DIY in this house again..

So a few pics to show you what I did..

It started like this

and now its like this

and night

the kit of course.. Masking tape for the Wii sensor bar as per standard issue!

And there you go for the living room..

Next month, the bedroom!

Re: Paras Pit...

Thats just the camera not being very good. They are quite dull in comparison really. I do get a slight blue tint if they are on, but there would be no way round that

Are those 1210s? I'm jealous. Nice vinyl collection too. What's in it?

1200s, but there the same thing, but in silver!

Quite an eclectic collection. Funk, house, hiphop, breaks, d n b, old skool stuff. 60s 70s rock, loads of other wierd stuff too. But I mainly mix house and breaks at the moment.

Re: Paras Pit...

Thanks.

That is indeed a cheeky little vestax pcv275 hanging in the middle. I have a Khoas pad for it as well hidden to the side for when I feel like a quick rub is in order!

The sofa was a fluke to be honest, it was ordered months before we got the place. I thought it could fit but had plans if it didnt. Thank god it did though, the other plans were s**t!

what did you not like? one thing that gets me is you cant go from cd to vinyl mode while a track is playing, its a big shame.

Re: Paras Pit...

I think the main issue I had was with the top plate. it felt to lose to me. Maybe I am just old and stuck in my mixing ways but I found them quite a challenge to mix with. More time spent keeping the beat matched than enjoying it!
