Chase cables into wall

?

I was looking for advice on how i would go about chaseing cables into a solid concrete wall -i plan on wall mounting a tv and would like the cables to be hidden i will have a small av rac beneath but would like the option to add and remove cables in the future - i will also be plastereing over so drilling and cutting is not a problem i would like a profesional lok and not just 2 holes in the walll

any ideas or links would be greatly appreciateed

thanks in advance

Re: Chase cables into wall

Hi Scott,

I'm still in the "thinking about doing it" stage but as far as I know, an SDS type drill with a chisel bit will do wonders in cutting out the channels you're going to need. Separate the power from the other leads too.

I'm sure more experienced peeps may want to comment though...

Re: Chase cables into wall

Hi Scott, I used an SDS drill to make the chanel then put some plastic tubeing in the grove, that way you can still push cables up the wall if you need to.there are a few ways you can do this but i found this a nice and easy way.

good luck with it...
