Holiday Home in Portugal Wiring for cinema

Hello

I am having problems locating any decent installer in the western algarve for my new build home that is under construction as we speak. I fear therefore that I am going to have to do most of it myself. I am about 5 weeks from the electrician going in and hence need to be ready to advise what I need.

The project is essentially a basement that will be a cinema room i.e. projector and screen and probably a 5.1 speaker set up. I would also like to pipe music into each room that could be controlled separately in each room and I would like to have a large wall mounted plasma or LCD in the living room.

I would like to have sky available in the basement and lounge.

I would also like to have broadband access in some of the rooms.

Firstly, I would like to know if I am correct in thinking that I need to run 2 video cables to and from each room? Speaker cable is obviously required in the cinema room and lounge but what cable do I need to run to each room for the individual music to be piped? I would like to source this music from a central server containing my cd collection what is the best way of achieving this.

I will also need to run cat 5e for the broadband network and phone but should I run a 3rd for later expansion purposes.

What do I need to do in order to receive the sky by satellite is there anything special required to get that into the cinema room and lounge.

Presumably I will need a distribution panel of some kind is there anything else I will need?

Once the video cables reach the rooms concerned what type of equipment do I need to connect the tvs to i.e. what wall panels and how do I connect component etc to this?

Ooh I am getting confused now!!! I am trying to get this project clear in my head and to keep it simple enough that it will all work without having to get anyone in.

Any help will be appreciated.

Best Wishes

Matt
