Motorised projector mount which rises into the ceiling
I've searched around for information on this but so far without success.
Has anyone attempted a motorised ceiling mount which hoists up into the space above the ceiling (the loft, in my case)? I'm thinking in terms of a plain panel on the base of the mount which finishes up snugly against the ceiling concealing the aperture when the projector is not in use. Failing a DIY project, is such a device manufactured? Edited to add: Sorry to (partly) answer my own question, but just in case anyone else is interested I've just found the company Future Automation who make a whole range of mounts, lifts and similar. I'd still be interested to hear from any DIYers or users of such things. Many thanks, Bert Last edited by Bert Coules; 01-10-2007 at 2:33 PM. |
