How to attach LCD mount to a pillar?

Hi

I wasn't sure whether to post this on the dedicated panel mount boards or DIY, from what I can see I'm guessing this might be a DIY job though so I'll try here first.

A friend of mine has moved into a flat in a converted warehouse which has 2 glass walls with a stone pillar (that runs the height of the building) running up through the corner of the room. What he wants (and has seen in a neighbouring building) is an LCD mount attached to what looks like a claw that grips the pillar and keeps the whole thing up. Any ideas if such a product can be bought or is this a pure DIY job?

Cheers
Matt
