Running cables behind plasterboard without cutting channel
Just in the process of installing an LCD TV in the kitchen. I need to run cables (HDMI, Component, VGA, Scart, power) from the LCD to the cupboard that I'm going to use for equipment. It's about 1.5 metres horizontally to the side of the screen.
I could cut the plasterboard and put in trunking, but is there a simpler way? The walls are plasterboard, dot n dab onto Thermalite. There are no dabs of adhesive on my 1.5 metre run, it seems to be clear. There is also a good gap of around one inch between the board and the Thermalite block.
How can I get the cables from the cupboard to the LCD? I thought something like a telescopic aerial, with a cable clipped to it might work, anyone have any experience of doing this kind of thing?
