Motorised Curtains

Anyone got motorised curtains? Was tempted by these on ebay.

Any comments?

The one you have linked to says it is only for delivery in the USA

Have a look at this though. I am thinking about 2 of these for my cinema, so that I could change the ratio of the screen.

Just re-read and they supply worlwide, but I am guessing the shipping costs will be high, as it is $45 to Canada.

I looked at these ages ago, and they quoted me $145 to ship 2 of them to the UK.
Expensive, but still works out much much cheaper than the Swish tracks you can buy over here.

Ben.

Did u go for them? Personally, I think I might be shelving the idea for a while and saving up for an HD-DVD player instead. Nevertheless I plan to motorise the curtains next year some time.

Hi, no I didn't in the end, but I still will be needing something at some stage.
The one that Ricky has linked to might be worth a go though, I'll have to have a think about it.

Re: Motorised Curtains

OK I bought one of these that Ricky pointed out. Just got it today, first impressions are that it is well built and should work perfectly for my screen masking system. I'll post more detail when its time to install it properly in my cinema room thread
