Panasonic TX-26LXD500 on Plasterboard Wall

I'm thinking of putting my Panasonic 26LXD500 on the wall but not sure if the wall itself will be able to take it. The wall is of the plasterboard variety, probably less than an inch thick supported by wooden studs. I'm not entirely certain if there is a stud where I want the TV though and even so it's a pretty heavy TV for its size, 24kgs with the desktop stand (not sure how much without).

I was thinking of a wall mount I've seen on eBay which features a wall mount attached to a VESA mount which is then attached to a Panasonic adaptor. Does anybody know how many holes you can into the wall with a mount like this. Obviously, I'm thinking the more there are the stronger it will be.

I don't want to mess around with complicated things like wood on the wall etc. I can easily get hold of some wall anchors and have a lot of shelving on the wall already but the weight is spread about more.

Thoughts?

Go the wall anchors route.

You could always cut out the plasterboard behind the display, and fit studs
exactly where you want them, put the plasterboard back in, touch up nicely
and you have solid fixings.
