Where can I buy Chrome Poles?
Afternoon, I've mounted my screen on the wall and want to put 2 x chrome bars on the wall so that it looks like its on a stand and will conceal alll the cables. Anyone any idea where I can buy some chrome poles from, I've tried BandQ and could only find 1" diameter piping, also tried unicol but they are 0.35 per cm which seems a bit steep. Help please??

Wickes do thick chrome poles, used for supporting breakfast bars. May not be long enough for you but worth a shot.

Chrome Poles
I had exactly the same idea last weekend, got ruled out by my SO. I found chrome poles of various lengths (up to 2M) and diameters in Homebase. They even had a plastic coating to keep the finish while installing, It looked like it would peel off easily.
Go For it.. wish I had..

Btech do thicker ones iirc. Nothing beats unicol, but as you aren't actually hanging a plasma from it, you are forgiven!!

I gave my neighbour a hand mounting his plasma yesterday and he had purchased an extruded aluminium 'pole' to conceal the wires. It was from Vogel a EFA 6835 cost about £35 and seemed to work really well. You can also get some optional shelves for mounting AV equipement on as well. I quick google revealed this

Re Chrome Poles
I am sure Mr. Stringfellow can help you out on this one. He may even have some 'Second User' or 'Ex-demo' ones lying aroung, may just require a quick wipe down with Dettox !!
