I may aswelll add the rest for now, basically I have had my chimmney breast taken out to give more room in the living room as it has become redundant since my loft conversion, and a false wall will be built with the plasma inset inside it with the usual blue led lights lol, with shelving either side with cabinets below they will have frosted glass sliding doors to house my AV equipment and hide it allowing me still to use the remotes. the false wall will be built in a little alcove were the radiator is,the rad is going to be moved under the window allowing me to use all the alcove.

The electric screen will be housed above hidden from view but will come down through a small false ceiling in front of the plasma, new spots will be fiitted in the ceiling and PJ mounted, all the cables have been fed through the ceiling as it was going to be re plastered after the Chimmney was taken out so cutting it to feed wires and so on did not make much difference plus i did not want to lift my new carpets up and move furniture upstairs as this would have been to much hassle.

Anyway I will keep you updated with the progress over the next few weeks, im hopping it will look great by the time its finnished.

CHEERS GUYS

Hi just a few more pics to show you how the build is coming along. The unit frames have been built and the studwork is up for the plaster board to be put up, ceiling has been plastered ready to be painted and spots to be fitted.

Screen has been put up to make sure of clearance before it is boxed into the false ceiling. Im really pleased with the way it is coming along and if all goes well showed be completley finished and decorated within 2 weeks.

cheers

Hi just a few more pics of the build, the plaster board is up and plastered still a little left to do, the bracket is on the wall.

Frosted glass doors and glass shelving is on order, a few other little jobs i:e lights and coving left to be completed and I should be ready to decorate next week.

As you can see in these pics the screen has been boxed in and I have been testing to make sure nothing gets caught against the screen as it raises and lowers.

Cheers
