TV in different room to everything else

My other half wants to have a LCD on the wall in the family room bit of the kitchen but wants the sky box, dvd recorder and video in another room which is seperated by a partition wall. I have some questions:

I can drill through the wall and presumably pass all three scarts through. Can you get a box or something that could go in the other room and I would then only need to pass one scart through?

Could all three be operated by remote? If so how? If I had to choose I could get away with just needing the sky box to be operated by remote. Is this possible?

Many thanks for any answers.

Sadly this doesn't come into the realm of a "Custom Installation". I'll put it in DIY for starters. If that doesn't bring forth a good/useful answer, perhaps a question in the "cabling" section might help.

Yes there are numerous devices that will meet this requirement.
See http://www.vivanco-direct.com/acatal...tch_Boxes.html for a start.

Yes. You need an IR repeater.
See the thread in this forum here Beginner needs advice on cabling through wall!
