diy av table

After trawling the net for months for an av table the right size and the right price i decided to build my own the first thing i did was to make a simple drawing (pic1), then i gave this to my brother who just happened to be doing some building work for a manager of a engineering firm that firm made the legs/supports out of solid 40mm mild steel (the largest support weighs 5.5llb)all powder coated in black(pic2)this cost me £150.00p.next i asked my brother inlaw who is a joiner if he could knock some shelves out for me he made up the shelves out of 25mm mdf and coated them with black laquer (pic3 and 4)this cost me nothing so all i had to do was to construct it, see the rest of the pics.

That looks great, not only did you save some cash, it doesn't look like scaffolding either.
