Hi guys im totally new to this forum and this is my first post apart from saying hello !
I need a little help and possibly a few answers to a couple of questions !
I have the go ahead from my other half to make our back room in to a tv/cinema room,
At first we were going to go for a plasma but after a trip to a sound and vison showroom i have now convinced her into agreeing on a projector and 5' screen.
I have added a couple of 3d renders that a kind friend of mine at work done, its not true to scale but im sure your get the idea...
The room is all read built and been plastered (whish i had had this idea when the builders in, would have been a little easier !! never mind)
Ok the questions...
1) after the visit to the sound and vision shop and the advice given we came to the following equipment ( i am on a budget ! and this was within the budget).
Projector Optoma Hd72i (loved the quality of this and this was demoed with no sound, even the mrs was impressed !)
Marantz sr7500 amp/receiver (allthough i now am swaying towards the Denon 2807 !??)
Speakers (as in attaced pics) Monitor audio BFX for the surround, Radius 90 for the fronts and Radius 180 for the centre and the Monitor audio 360 for the sub.
last but not least a Marantz DV7600 dvd player !
Is this a nice blanced set up, or can you suggest anything else ?
2) with the surround speakers what is the ideal/best place for these? in the pics are they about right? or would you put then to the left and right of the sofa ?
3) when running the cables in what cables do i need from the dvd player and amp to the projector, also for the screen do i only need power and i understand a 3.5mm jack from projector to screen !

p.s. the room size is 3.5m from backwall to screen, and 5.5m from dining room to patio doors !
