Advice on new install

I am currently in the process of having my kitchen/diner redone. It is a large 25x34 room. I am having a fireplace put back in and I want a plasma over it.

In the room next to it I have a 436-XDE with Sky Plus. I can easily drill a hole through the wall and feed through cables but the question is what cables?

Also when it comes to powering the plasma how can I hide those wires?, does it have to go into a plug or is there some electrical wizardry that allows me to have it done in the wall that I can then just plaster over.

Please bear in mind that I am to DIY what Hitler was to world peace.

Thanks for your time,

Russell

If you want to "hardwire" the Plasma, you'll need to wire the plug into an isloated spur. Basically like a blanking plate with a fuse. Don't ever by-pass the fuse!

Or, you could just simply have a recessed plug in the wall, how are you going to be mounting the plasma to the wall?

Isolated spur?!? I take it I need a spark for that?

I am going to mount it to the wall with a standard bracket?

Anyone have any ideas how I will feed the sky+ through?
