advice - Home Cinema for free!!!

I have been given a load of old AV equipment from where I work as they have closed an office.

Looking for advice if this is worth fitting into my Garage

I have electrics etc in the garage already.

Dimensions are 15ft long x 9 ft wide.

Equipment list

AMP

Denon PMA-255UK Amp - nice, black amp - but no remote control

Projector

Sanyo - PLC XU33 - nice with remote contol and a ceiling mount (a huge bloody cieling mount) - replacement lamps £200 (ish).

Screen

Screen - Pendax screen - may well build my own from the other threads here.

There is some other Kit, DVD player, speakers a PC etc

Do you reckon this is worth the hassle of mounting.

I already have a 42" Samsung Plasma (ready to be fitted in the gararge) and a 32" LCD for the licing room.

I want to use it for Sky +, my Xbox 360 and HTPC (which I already have)

Andy advice is greatly apreaciated guys,

Thanks in advance.

Hi do you mean mounting the projector? if so there are various ways of mounting the projector, you can use a ceiling mount or just shelf, i have used one of those wall mounts for 14" Tvs to hold my projector

Thanks for the reply

I am wondering if its is worth the hassle of setting all of this up.

I have the plasma TV already and then I got given all of the other stuff for free......

The question is realy if I can have Sky+, Xbox 360 and a HTPC running through this equipment...

Cheers

i think you should set it up. Having a plasma is certainly cool. but then having a projector and a 100" screen or bigger is just WOW! really adds a new dimension to home cinema. Give it a go it is certainly worth it in my eyes,
