The most difficult part was getting the angles for the cornicing.

The pillars are about forty inches apart.

The wall lamps are from Gorse Mill factory lighting in Oldham.... near junction 21 of the M60. They normally cost about £85+vat each but they sell them for about £15+vat!

The pillars are 8" wide x 5" deep.

The pillars are not white by the way, they are painted Icestorm grey! (No6 "very light grey" in satin Gloss.)

White gloss looked to "treacly/shiny".

Ps Gorse Mill Factory Lighting is in Failsworth "near" Oldham.

Hi Paul,

Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but after seeing your post in the screen forums, I was amazed to find that you haven't yet put a link to you cinema into the 'Members' Home Cinema Gallery' forum.

It deserves to be there, to give inspiration and heart to other people that are just starting out on the DIY of their room. It is an excellent room.

Anyway, I was just wondering, how big the room is and how big the screen is?

Thanks

Ricky
