have a look at this

Tom: hi
leigh : hi i want to soundproof my walls what are the best things to use im in to homecinema and i have heard bad things about resilient channel
Tom: Your best option would be our Resilient Bar System. This will take up a maximum of 5.5 inches and will reduce everyday noise and music by approx 70 %. I have pushed a page at you to view for more info on this system. If it does not open then please click on the link. I would look at the flash animation on this page first to get and idea of products and the layout.
Tom: http://www.customaudiodesigns.co.uk/...howtowalls.htm
Tom: You should not have heard any bad things about it
Tom: If you have it will be from someone who has not installed it properly
Tom: or another soundproofing company who are trying to push you there system
leigh : they say it sucks all the bass out of the room
Tom: It does not absorb the bass
Tom: it just stops it from leaving
leigh : ok thanks for the link
Tom: Is there anything else I can help you with ?
leigh : no im fine thanks

Sorry but what's the point of this post? Sounds like an advert to me.

Custom Audio dont make or install RC, they just sell it

if RC is installed incorrectly it wont work properly. Bass will get 'sucked' out of a room if the edges are not sealed or if the board resonates at the same frequency, say 40hz, it is possible to 'short circuit' RC, this reduces its effectiveness.
