Question New HT Room - Is there a minimum size?

I'm currently doing plans for an extension to my own house (seeing as I've managed to finish all my mate's plans ) and yes you guessed it - I'm gonna build in a HT room.

The plan of the room at present is 2.8m x 2.8m which isn't huge but I reckon I can fit everything in without any problems - what I'd like to know is would I get any real benefits from making it slightly bigger? I'm a bit pushed for space but I could pinch an extra foot in each direction if I wanted to...

thanks in advance.

My mate has his 4805 in a 10ft square room next to his garage. Its a bit on the small side but it does work. He has a 5ft screen which I find a bit small but apart from that it works well.

My garage HC is 12 x 8 with a 96" screen perfect for what I need however IMHO any additional space you can squeeze on a smaller room is good space.

If I had a 13 x 9 option I would definately have taken it
