Thanks: Gave 55, Got 30 | Decorating a Home Cinema
Hi people
I am just realy after ides for a good looking cheap way to decorate a home cinema.
I thought of maybe a DTS or Dolby surround sound plaque??
Also I was thinking of getting classic film posters, the ones that will go down in history like Casablanca, Blade runner, Star wars
Any idea would be apprecieated.

In my experiance, you want to avoid having anything reflective on the side or end walls, as it just reflects light from the screen and is a distraction. By all means put up a poster on the wall behind you, but otherwise avoid, unless you can find some really low reflective material to mount them in.

Yeah mr bump i never thought of it reflecting on the side walls, the screen I am getting is manual, so it could pull down over some posters. I will see when its all set up. I am aiming for it to be complete next saturday, and will post pics in the gallery then.

Well, after a trip into penco (an artist place with movie prints, posters, autographs) in my town I got some very nice 20" posters which should be easy to frame.
Also got the screen (which is a blackout blind) from focus, which will do the job at a great price of £50
