Surround Sound Help

Got a surround sound set up (amp built in to DVD). Whats type best way to set it up?

Scart from DVD to Sky, from Sky to TV, and run the red & white cables from TV to DVD?

Thanks

Run a Scart from Sky to the TV and run another from the DVD to the TV, I can't think of any reason to connect up the red and white phono cables.
