Question

I've done a search and couldn't find anything covering this.

I was wondring if it's unadvisable to place a TV directly in front of a radiator? About a foot in front of it.

Does anyone know anything about this, wether it's bad for wires or causes any problems at all.

thanks in advance.

We used to have a TV directly in front of a radiator and it used to do horrible things to the picture. This radiator (as are most others) was a huge hunk of steel that in our case had certainly picked up weird magnetic charges that completely distorted the colours on our TV. Heat from the radiator is probably less of an issue so long as the area is well ventilated.

Dave

Edit, a foot in front I don't think heat will be problem, but magnetic effects might still be (try it and see, they won't be long term)
