PJ to Screen Distance

When working out the distance to place the screen from the projector is it a standard formula for all systems or do NEC/Barco/Seleco all use a different one?

If it's anything like the digital projectors, then they probably have different throw ratios so will have to be placed differently.

What model pj is it?

Gary.

Its most likely a NEC DP1200 (when I get a car, but thats another story )
The NEC is a CRT projector though not a LCD so distances are critical, the landlord from my local has got an old Seleco 150 that he wants me to give him an hand putting it up (free beer ) but I need to know how to work out the distances.

Your best bet is to try the crt forum - plenty of people there who know them better than I.
