Painting my sub...what type of paint...?

I am really toying with the idea of painting the outside of my Rel Storm white so it blends in better with my newly decorated room. I'm not sure how practical this is or if the results would look good or not which is why I am only toying with the thought.

However, can anyone suggest how would be best to paint it and what with? I assume it would need some sort of undercoat as the surface of the sub isn't smooth, although there is a small chip in the corner and it seems it is only painted wood to begin with so I'm hoping the idea is possible

Failing that is there anywhere I could take it to get it done professioanlly?

Halfords or simular, aerosol primer and top coat will do the job!
