Speaker Positionsing.

Moving all my AV equipment in to my new room in the next week. I've got a 5.1 system to put up; I’ll be having the centre just above the fireplace and the 4 sats up in the 4 corners of the room. I just realised though doesn’t putting speakers in corners mean things like artificial reverberation and other bad things?.

Ideally you want the front 3 speakers level in height with each other, otherwise you will get some odd pans when going across the 3.

If you look at the Dolby link below it shows where you should ideally have the speakers relative to your seating position.
