burying cables so I want to put right ones in

TV to be mounted on the wall so cables will be chased in

Have sky plus, DVD and games console.

Plan was 2 pf100 cables ( 1 coax and 1 f type) and a HDMI point, to TV via modular faceplates


however I understand that sky plus does not have HDMI
how will I get DVD to TV, burying scart leads is not something I fancy doing

What should I chase in the walls so I can link my various boxes to TV

use conduit - then you can pull through any cables you might need at a later date

I would agree with this - stick a length of 50 x 100 mm conduit into the wall with a double-gang brush face plate at either end. This would allow you to pull through any cables you want in the future and you won't be worrying if you have missed something important. It's also significantly cheaper and faster than using the modular faceplates.
