Removing an old back boiler system and replacing with a new combi system so the chimney breast all needs tidyed up.
My thinking is to put a false wall over the original chimney and mount the tv bracket onto the brick chimney so the new stud wall around the chimney will hide the bracket.
I have done a litle sketchup:
The wife wants a hole where the old fire was that I will board out as she wants candles or flowers in apparently -
My question is does my design look suitable? I'm not sure how far the stud wall needs to be off the main breast to allow for the bracket yet as i dont have one - I need a recomendation for a bracket that will allow me to pull tv out if I need to get to the back.
TV is a Toshiba 40" (comet special edition) can supply model if needed.
Im going to run 3 hdmi cables to wall plates on the side of the chimney breast and 1x 3.5mm audio jack for my macbook pro to hook in with.
