Home AV network

Finally have a place of my own and want to stream video to all rooms of the house, I have tried the usual wireless video senders but found them tempremental especally in stone buildings.
I am looking to stream DVD plus 2X Virgin cable to 6 TV's,4 of the 6 are analogue but all have at lest 2 scart leads.

My Question is this, am I better to run out a common scart network, and will this need to be amplified or am I better to buy the Scart to RF units available at Maplins and run a boosted Coax network.

If I go with the Coax, will I need 3 Scart to RF or is it better to use 2 and send the DVD via one of the cable boxes.

How do I then combine the outputs , can they just be spliced, and finally does anybody know if the Sky smart eye system works with virgin boxes.

All comment gratefully recieved

Regards

Rich
