Bay window black out blinds????

what blackous are can be had for bay windows please, I no I will need 3 blinds to go round it, but what types are there? where is the best please.

You will not be able to get 100% blackout using three blinds in a bay window, because of the gaps between each blind.

The only way you will be able to get true blackout is to go across the whole bay.

I used three blinds in my bay and as pemberto says it doesnt cut out everything but its pretty good. This pic was taken this morning, it wasnt the brightest of days but it was still daylight.

I've got wooden blinds on the windows so I've mounted the blackout ones behind them. I may try making some channels for the blinds to run down out of electrical trunking to see if cuts it down more. Someone on here has done that IIRC, but I can't find the thread (i havent looked that hard tho)

I got blinds that you cut to length, two 120cm ones for the side of the bay and one 180cm for the front.

thanks for the info ill have a look, ive been told of ikea as well, but dont no if you can cut them.

I think you can cut the Ikea ones but to buy them involves going to the store at Lakeside which is something I try and avoid at all costs

We use our screen as a blackout. It lays flat against an adjacent wall and swings out when we use it to cover the bay. Screen & blackout combined.
