sky hd over cat 6

I have a denon avr 1910 in spare bedroom which has now became a av room at the min only got my sky HD in with it but will be adding a gigabit switch, blue ray and patch panel.

Basically my problem is that i have my sky HD into av receiver, then HDMI from receiver to a balun singal then over cat 6 to lounge to my sony bravia.

Issue, every now and again the screen goes blank, the on screen display appears in corner of screen saying source HDMI and 1080i (think that is a tv display rather than the receiver).

I have noticed that it sometimes does it when i switch on or off lightswitches. but it has the odd time done it when nothing has been switched.

Any ideas?

Re: sky hd over cat 6

Where you have your ethernet cables running to your tv from the SKY HD. Is it going near any of these power cables for the light switches. Are your ethernet cables shielded?

probably run about 50cm apart in conduit.

They are not shielded as read advice to use unshielded as shielded could cause me more problems.

Any idea how I can resolve it?
