Thank you for inspiring me - Start of new setup

Hi all,

I have been "lurking" on the forums for some time and I have been inspired alright!

Here's what i have so far:
Samsung PS50A558S1 Plasma
Sony BDP-350
Samsung DVD-SH893M HD/DVD Recorder with an additional Iomega 500gb HD connected via USB.

Shopping List:
Yamaha RXV765 Receiver
Tannoy SFX 5.1 Speaker set
Xtreamer
Harmony 1100 remote with RF extender
Additional 1TB HD

I built the cabinet in the picture to house all the equipment some time ago but the project stalled when we bought new sofas and i ran out of money!!! Eventually we will get a Wii and a PS3 which is why I went for the Yamaha, if you can think of a better amp/reciever for the same price, i would be most grateful.

I plan to build a floating wall (here comes the inspiration bit!!!) around the cabinet but deep enough to bring flush with the front of the Sammy plasma which is very deep (about 6 inches on the wall) This will also allow me to keep the wife happy by putting in some little cubby holes into the wall for some "stylish" ornaments?!? The cubbys will have some recessed lighting in, and i will have the usual rope light around the wall. The centre space you see in the picture is already lit with a under cabinet strip light. Its a bit bright so i might change that.

I would appreciate any advice or tips that i may have missed trauling through the posts here.

Cheers!
Darren
