Help with first speaker project

Hi

For my school project I am going to make a loudspeaker system. It is going to contain a tweeter, Mid range and woofer. The parts I intend to use are showsn below:

Tweeter:

Standard Horn > Maplin

Mid Range:

51/4†60W Shielded Bass/Mid Woofer > Maplin

Woofer:

1x 902.420 5.25" 200W Hi Fi Kevlar Cone Woofer Speaker on eBay (end time 05-Jul-09 22:22:23 BST)

I think I need a 3 way crossover so this is the one I thought of using:

Three-Way 12dB/Octave 150W > Maplin

To connect the speakers to the amp I was thinking of using these terminals:

Twin Terminal Post > Maplin

along with these: Banana Plugs with Gold-Plated Contacts > Maplin

I am going to make a box myself which will house the speakers (made from MDF).

I am not expecting this to sound amazing, it is only my first project and just want to know if this will work. If I need any other components then please tell me.

Could anyone tell me what kind of wires I would need? and how to connect the speakers together (series maybe?)

It would be great if you could help me along with this

Thanks.
