Can you suggest material for a 3m x 1.5m screen?
Hi,
I'm planning to make a DIY screen using Black Widow paint with the rough dimensions 3m x 1.5m (give or take 2-3%) I'm currently mulling over options - whether to paint directly onto the wall or whether to paint onto a large piece of material, and then hang that on the wall. The main reason for wanting to paint onto material is so that if I move I can take the screen with me. I'm currently using a magnolia coloured wall and results are pretty good with that, but painting a screen on a wall makes it pretty permanent. I was considering 3mm or 6mm MDF which had been already painted on one side (I think you can get it from B&Q) but the maximum size is 2.44m x 1.22m which won't cut the mustard. Does any one know where to get larger sheets of MDF or another such like material with the right properties and dimensions to paint on? Thanks, Matt
