Smile Pioneer 5090 Undermounted speaker cables and fitting options

Hi All,

Having being an avid reader of this brilliant forum for a while I have taken the plunge and ordered a Pioneer 5090UT... I intend to wall mount the panel and had a question about the PDP-63 under-mounted speaker that it comes with. Has anyone installed the speaker in a different position to the norm of directly under the tv and if so did you just use normal speaker cable? My intention is to build the speaker into a cabinet that will sit below the tv and house other AV equipment. I am assuming that the speaker is magnetically shielded also?? The info on Pioneers site is scarce.. Also, does anyone recommend an alternative to the official wall mount?

BTW I will also have the tabletop stand for sale when I get it if anyone is interested. Will post in classifieds.

Thanks!

Re: Pioneer 5090 Undermounted speaker cables and fitting options

Surely someone out there has done a custom Pioneer 5090 install with the speaker bar?

More appropriate in the Home Cinema DIY forum, you should have more luck with some replies.
