Mounting a PJ

Hello all

Looking back at some build pictures of my house, it's almost 99% certain that where I want to mount the projector is going to be directly between two joists.

As this means I wont be able to mount onto the joist itself, what are my other options?

I'd rather not put MDF or similar up on the plasterboard to meet the joists, as i want it to look as smooth and low mess as possible on the ceiling.

The PJ and mount don't seem over heavy - the PJ is an Optoma HD700x and the mount is this one - Do you think the plaster board could take it with suitable fixings? If so, what would those be?

Thanks for any help in advance
