2 room set up: Help Needed!

Hi Guys,

I've got a dilemma.

See the attached picture.

In room 1 I have a GameRacer car seat connected to a PS3 which is connected to a 32" TV.

In room 2 (living room) I have a 60"LG connected (or will be) to a Onkyo 806 Amp which drives a Monitor Audio Vectors 5.1.

I'm getting a false wall built (the green bit) ahead of the party wall in room 2.

Now, my question is would it be best to run the PS3 through a HDMI splitter so it connects to the 32" and the 60" or buy a separate blu ray player to go in room 2?

Can sound be played through the HDMI cable as well?

The thinking is that if I wanted to watch Blu Ray / play a game / internet / photos / music I could do it in ROOM2.

Or is the HDMI splitting, extra cabling etc just not worth the effort / compromise of PQ.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Unc.
