Onkyo TX-NR609 and Boston Acoustic Soundware XS SE speakers setup

Hello, I'm going to buy Onkyo TX-NR609 and Boston Acoustic Soundware XS SE setup, I'd like to hear from people who own a bunch of information how this may sound, I'll listen to music and watch movies Also, if collecting 5.1 gradually, from which front speakers of low-cost models of 5.1 setups I should start. Thanks in advance!

Have a read through the owners thread:

ONKYO TX-NR609 Owners Thread *Part 2*

There are also threads on the Bostons in the speakers forum.

If you were going to listen to music, I would be tempted to get a full sized speaker setup up front using bookshelf speakers and matching centre. The likes of Tannoy Mercury V, Wharfedale Diamond and Q-Acoustics 2000 series are the usual budget options. MA Bronze are also worth a look and quite a few people partner MA with Onkyo despite some saying that it shouldn't work due them both being clinical in nature. A demo is the best way to ensure you are happy with the sound.

just by reading a lot of feedbacks about Onkyo 609 I realize it has pronounced bright sound so better find something which not enhances this effect and also add some warmth.
